Susie joined JUMO after five and a half years at Woolworths Holdings Limited, where she was Group Head of Communications. Before joining Woolworths, she was the Press Secretary to the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, and was responsible for coordinating cross government communications and campaigns. Before that, Susie was at the Department for Work and Pensions, working as part of a team that oversaw wholesale reform of the welfare system. Susie has over 12 years’ international communications and corporate affairs experience spanning markets across Africa and Europe.
Fábio has worked in systems and software development for over 18 years. His tech leadership experience covers e-commerce and banking. He helped build the engineering team for neobank N26, and is building a world-class, compliant and scalable platform for JUMO.
Joe was the former Kenyan Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of ICT from 2015 to 2022. He brings a wealth of government experience and knowledge of African tech to the JUMO exec team and board.
Joe was also previously the head of Sub-Saharan Africa for Google, where he led strategy, business planning & operations.
Jonathan founded Athena Capital in 2003, leading its evolution into leading Sub-Saharan Investment Advisor. Jonathan has significant investment and board experience spanning the Infrastructure, Health, Financial Services and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors.
His previous experience includes several years in IBM’s financial services business in London, where he later founded an IT business before returning to South Africa. He co-founded Eden Campus (SA’s first rural entrepreneur university. He also completed an AMP at INSEAD in 2000.
Amaury is a corporate banking professional with experience in large corporate and project financing, specialising in credit risk, financial structuring, and capital allocation.
He holds an MSc in International Business Management from the University of West London and a Certificate in Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School.
Albert started his banking career with the National Investment Bank Limited in Accra. He previously served as the Group CEO of Ecobank. Albert is the chairman of the Ghana Stock Exchange, Oasis Africa Capital Fund Limited, the Ghana Amalgamated Trust and he is an independent non-executive director of Old Mutual and the Development Finance Institute (FinDec) Canada.
Raymond is Executive Chairman of Serendipity Ventures, an investment company focused on scaling opportunities across Africa’s financial, consulting services, and ICT sectors. He was previously Group CEO of CIVH, one of South Africa’s largest telecommunications groups, where he oversaw the merger of Vumatel and Dark Fibre Africa into Maziv. With more than 30 years’ experience in investment banking, asset management, and telecommunications, Raymond also co-founded Black Elephant Vintners and serves on the boards of OUTsurance Group, Investment Managers Group, and several other leading companies.
Michael is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of BenevolentAI A.S., one of the world’s leading companies in the application of AI in drug discovery and development.
He is a founding shareholder and Non-Executive Director at Adarga Limited, the UK’s leading company in the application of AI in the defence and intelligence sectors. He was also previously a Non- Executive Chairman of SimplyPayMe, a mobile based software platform focused on enabling micro SMEs and also a Director of Park House English School, a family owned school operator.
Vishma leads corporate services for ITL. Her extensive business experience spans 15 years. This has provided her with the necessary skills to sit on the board of various global companies.
She is actively involved in innovative projects geared towards increasing
efficiency and she is well versed in AML/CFT law.
Andrew is founder of JUMO and served as the CEO for over a decade. He’s built various businesses including Gateway Telecoms, a satellite service provider sold to Vodafone for $675M. He spent seven years at Salomon Brothers in London and New York and is partner in a fund focused on the energy sector.
Claudine manages Intercontinental Trust’s Corporate Services Department and facilitates the incorporation of companies, company structures, regulatory matters and corporate administration for global businesses. She manages a portfolio of international banks and has extensive experience in this field.

Michael has over 20 years’ experience in CFO roles and a successful track record for building scale and value. He is recognised industry-wide for operational efficiency, business transformation, liquidity management, financial structuring, refinancing and IPO preparation and execution. During his previous tenures as Group CEO for Zepz/WorldRemit and Sysco, his financial responsibilities also included strategy and M&A. Michael lives in North London with his wife, Eloise, young daughter, Amelie and two dogs. He likes to keep fit, plays very average golf and is a season ticket holder at Manchester United.
